Having grown up on Saltspring Island and making my first move to Cumberland, I value and understand small community living and the benefits that come along with this lifestyle. I am now living in Port Alberni because I, along with many others, see the reawakening of this aesthetically stacked and wild west coast town. It’s an outdoor playground with fishing, hunting, camping, mountain biking, back country skiing and lake days at your fingertips. It’s a short drive to skiing, surfing and world-famous tourist destinations. The community of entrepreneurs opening cafes, event spaces, breweries, shops, fitness venues and other indoor amenities is growing every day. The opportunity to come in to a growing community is exciting and inspiring for families, entrepreneurs, investors and outdoor enthusiasts alike.
